Fraction made by Clock arms
Suppose you want to know the fraction of 90 degree made by arms of clock, so how do you calculate it.
Here 90 degrees can be shown as long arm on 12 o'clock and short arm on 3 o'clock
Simple,
1 revolution = 360 degrees
? revolution = 90 degrees
? = 90/360 = 1/4 This is the fraction made by 90 degree of the clock
Example 1:
Find fraction for 270 degrees.
In same way as above we get fraction = 270/360 = 3/4
